William McKinley was the 25th President of The United States of America, from 1897 to September 14th 1901, the day of his unforgettable assassination. William McKinley was definitely a family man, and most importantly an outstanding politician. President McKinley was successful not only in Domestic Affairs and Foreign Affairs, but also in his Campaigns and Elections. Unlike past unsuccessful Presidents, President William McKinley was extremely successful in his Presidential Administration. William was a natural-born politician and was outstandingly successful in Foreign Affairs.
William Howard Taft was a member of the Republican Party. His term lasted from 1909-1913. His central ambition regarding reform was to create an orderly framework for administering a reform agenda.
William Henry Harrison was the ninth president to serve in office. He was also the oldest president elected at the time and the first to die in office as well. Harrison was born into a well-connected family, and having his father and brother both to serve an important role in Congress, Harrison was bound to be a part of the “planter aristocracy” (American). Surprisingly, William originally went to college studying classics and medicines. William changed career paths and took up the military services before taking a role in the government (Bio).
President Taft was the first president to hold both the title of President and Chief Justice of the Supreme Court. He was the first president to ride around Washington D.C. in the automobile. He liked them so much, he asked for 3 more vehicles. And, as stated before, Taft got stuck in the bathtub during his presidency. He weighed over 300 hundred pounds and due to his enormous size, was not able to get out of the bathtub.
Prior to losing the election of 1912, he helped the U.S with by doing anything he could to uphold America and its citizens. He also aided in American access to the Panama Canal. On economical terms, Roosevelt was the trust-buster, breaking all of the bad trusts in big businesses. He also was the president who enforced the Sherman Antitrust Act. Socially, he preserved millions of acres of land, entitling citizens to interact and have leisure time, and wildlife to prosper.
He shared Theodores interest in foreign affairs and his term in office was focused on expanding the U.S. He tried to give the U.S a foreign policy a new appearance. He initiated the program known as "dollar diplomacy," designed to encourage U.S. investments in South and Central American, the Caribbean, and the Far East” . Referring to the Corollary, Taft was able to get congress to create a governor general, independent judiciary, and legislative assembly in the Philippines when the U.S bought the Philippines after the Spanish American war . The Corollary helped intact America’s involvement in for external affairs.
Since the death of President William McKinley, Roosevelt became the 26th and youngest president. Roosevelt ran for president twice and lost both times. Roosevelt was nominated by the Progressive Party for presidency. In return, keeping the progressive items back. He still used the executive office to break up the monopolies, similarly to Woodrow Wilson.
Roosevelt 's followers just didn’t think that William could fulfill what Roosevelt wanted to. They also thought that he wasn’t doing much as president, which was sort of true. He didn’t pass to many laws or bills, but what he did do did help the U.S. In 1912, Taft decided to try to run for another term. On november 5, 1912 the votes came in.
One of the things he did was he took down the Standard Oil company. In 1911 Standard oil was brought back to court and it was took down by Taft. While being Roosevelt's secretary taft supported Roosevelt's “Square Deal” policy. Another event was in 1912 Taft won the primary vote but he received less popular votes than Roosevelt.
President Franklin Pierce was the 14th president of the United States of America. Pierce was born on November 19, 1834. He was the child of Benjamin and Anna Pierce. Young Pierce had good education and had good grades during his childhood. At first, Pierce was sent to local schools near his home, until at age 12, his parents paid and sent him to private academy schools.

Roosevelt was very persistent in every job he had, as well as his many roles in the government. He served on a police board and he was a strong supporter of the war in Spain. He had joined a group called the Rough Riders.
After Roosevelt’s two terms, William H. Taft came as his successor. Roosevelt had put his trust into Taft that he would carry on with all the policies Roosevelt had yet been able to put into action before his time was up, but Taft had done exactly the opposite. Taft reversed many of Roosevelt’s policies which could be called a battle won on the conservatives end, but soon after Taft began to try and lower tariffs. Taft ended up splitting the Republican party up which helped the Democratic party greatly in the election of 1912 when Woodrow Wilson won the presidency. Wilson was a great asset to the progressive cause, fighting against the four privileges: wealth, banks, tariffs, and trusts.
