Although there are plenty of addiction treatment centers available in Jamaica, New York, an estimated 23.2 million people in the United States need to be treated for substance abuse. Only 2.4 million of these individuals actually receive treatment. Getting treatment can be difficult for addicts because they must first recognize that they have a problem. Once the addict is able to recognize this fact, they are able to get the help that they need to recover.

What Makes a Treatment Program Effective?

Over the years, treatment programs in Jamaica, New York have figured out some of the techniques that make a treatment program effective. Personalized rehab centers allow addicts to get treatment that is customized to their needs. Counseling and cognitive behavior therapy have been proven to be effective.
