This tool enables people to convey thoughts and feelings; starting wars and making friends, telling the guy who cut you off on your way to work how you really feel. With that being said, various people from across the globe have passed down words of wisdom, each culture holds a myriad of proverbs. Life is a mental game and people find that inspiring quotes helps to give them an extra burst of positivity to keep trudging through or to get sprinting. She went further into detail about why she tattooed this quote, specifically, rather than any other quote by saying her grandmother has always preached this one. The 2014 year’s Thanksgiving, shortly after her birthday, Liska decided to surprise her grandmother, who was visiting their cousins in Kansas, and tell her about her new ink. The Liska family gathered around their oak dining room table, embellished with gourds and clothed in white linen. They hastily grabbed the family iPad and called their Kansan cousins on FaceTime.
