“ Revenge is often like biting a dog because the dog bit you “ ( Austin O’malley ) the meaning of this quote is that it could mean when in relationship and you break up the person that got their heart broken could possibly not move on and cause them to get angry and get revenge by breaking the other persons heart. In the serial podcast presented by Sarah Koenig ( Eps 1-2) has a big influence on how Adnan got his heart broken and how people think that Adnan had many motives to kill Hae from the break up starting with revenge and jealousy. There are many reasons on why people think Adnan killed Hae, the 1st reason is Adnan had a motive to kill Hae because he wanted revenge. When Jay wilds says “ he told me that she had broke his…and he told me that almost joking “ I think i’m going to kill her, yeah, I think i’m going to kill her. ( Serial podcast Eps 2, Sarah Koenig ) this quote shows that Jay could have killed Hae because he wanted revenge meaning that since his heart was broken, he was going to break her’s in a bad way. There’s a big significance in this quote because Jay made it seem like Adnan was angry when he said that. Adnan killed Hae because of his jealousy with Hae dating other guys.
