Abby G. Burke Mrs.Sargeant English 12 3 April 2023 Is Adnan Syed guilty? On January 13, 1999, an 18-year-old girl by the name of Hae Min Lee went missing. One month later, on February 9th, her body was found in Leakin Park in Baltimore, Maryland. After an autopsy, it was determined that Hae was strangled to death. Could it have pushed him over the edge but no one knew? These questions circle through my head when I think about how Hae was killed knowing Adnan knew how to strangle someone. Here is a friend, Aisha, she states, “Classmate and best friend of Hae. Remembers Adnan being possessive with Hae (People Map).” If Adnan was possessive of Hae like Aisha said, he could have been so heartbroken and mad after the breakup that he wanted revenge.
