Would you go as far to kill this one you loved so much? Whatever your answer may be Adnan Syed was deranged enough to kill his ex-girlfriend Hae Min Lee. Adnan Syed was convicted of killing Hae min Lee in 1999 in Baltimore, Maryland. The call logs provide incriminating stats that prove Adnan killed Hae which shows motive behind Haes murder. In Hae’s diary she writes this about Adnan: “he hasn't called me since twelve thirty this afternoon and it's definitely pushing me to the edge” (Koenig, “The Breakup”). Adnan would have known that Hae wanted to be in contact with him at all times. That's why it seems a little abnormal for Adnan not to call her the next day. It almost makes me feel like he would be different enough to kill someone he once loved. One time Hae explained how he got mad at her for not calling and texting back fast enough. That seems a little bit over bearing on Adnan’s part. Another piece of evidence that raises concerns is why Adnan wouldn’t call Hae the next day is maybe they went through a little argument and this pushed Adnan over the edge.
