The tragic years of 1941-1945 are remembered by many Jews as the Holocaust; they fought for their lives every day against the mad man that led the Nazi troops against them, Adolf Hitler. Hitler opposed and despised the Jews with hatred. To know Hitler’s life, one will begin to understand with these points, the childhood of Hitler, his rise to power as the dictator of Germany, and how he used the power of words and propaganda do persuade the Germans, that nationalism is the key to victory.

Hitler took so much pride in his speeches that he would not let anyone except himself, write out his speeches. According to Amanda Macias, who lives in Washington, DC, in her article, “Why Hitler was such a successful orator” (Macias, Amanda). Hitler was a renowned speaker who would edit and fix his mistakes up to 5 times before delivering the heart grueling message to the German people. Hitler’s voice was a huge essential weapon to his delivery and that was a powerful enticing voice that penetrated the hearts of the Germans who sought comfort and assurance from it. Many as half his speeches involved hand gestures, which he used to communicate and make the message clear to every person listening and watching. Hitler wanted absolute perfection in his speeches, that he would go before a mirror and rehearse his words and hand gestures several times. In the course of his ruling, Hitler accumulated more than 5,000 speeches which all aimed at persuading the German people that the Jews and every other nation had to be destroyed, and that his dynasty would rule and conquer for a millennium.
