Fair trade is an organized social movement whose purpose is to promote a global fair criterion in labor, environmental protection and social policy. Its products are various from handicraft to agricultural products (citation). The benefits come in various approaches, majority of them are connected with environmental protection and economy increase in poor places. From one side, fair trade is not only beneficial to natural environment, but also slightly improve worker’s working environment. Fair trade，which aims to improve impoverished situation in poor countries is a pivotal social activity in international business. It is increasingly known to people for its advantageous merits. According to the Fair Trade Resource Network (2008), there are ten crucial reasons to sustain the development of fair trade. In this paper, major attention is paid to its economic, environmental and social elements. The importance of fair trade is that it relatively reduces poverty in impoverished countries, especially for those people who live on the edge of subsistence although it is not completely effective (Modelo,M. 2014). Therefore, the whole process of producing goods in fair trade is environmentally friendly and sustainable, because both worker and environment can be protected in an effective approach.
