As you may know the name of our 16th president which is Abraham Lincoln you might not know some of his story. Lincoln was assassinated on April 15,1865. He was shot by a man named John Wilkes Booth. Booth fled the scene right after shooting Lincoln and was on the run in hiding for 12 days. After he was found he was shot due to resisting to surrender. After that happened there was many advantages and disadvantages of the assaination and I will list some. A horrible outcome of his assasination was that it damaged the North and Souths relationship, increasing the hate toward the South. Many people in the world felt disbelief and sorrow after his death. If he wasn't assassinated then the South would have ended up in the same state with Jim Crow
