She succeeds in giving an overview of African myths. Occasionally she makes connections to other cultures with shared concepts or ideas. Throughout the book, the author retells some of the culture’s myths. Each category had at least three myths in it. The amount of myths per category gives the reader a chance to gain a basic understanding of the myths in that category. The reader will gain a basic understanding of how Korean myths work. This knowledge is a fundamental step in understanding the mythologies of the world. Fitzpatrick, Peter. Throughout the book the author sustains the concept of the mythology of modernity. Fitzpatrick argues that modern law is a form of mythology. The author thoroughly explains the law system and his point although he rarely speaks about the myths. If he does talk about myths his format hides it. The format of the information is confusing because of information placement and size of the paragraphs.
