The novel “After The Shot Drops” focuses on two main characters, Nasir and Bunny. They are best friends until something comes in the way of their friendship, and gets torn apart. What tore them apart was that Bunny got a basketball scholarship to a school called St. Sebastians. Their friendship has been very meaningful since they were little boys. In this essay, I will mainly discuss Bunny and his character traits. Bunny is a person with a very determined mindset that chooses basketball over everything else. Throughout the book, it very clearly states the bunny is a nice, smart, and determined person. For example Bunny wants to win state, so every time he has free time he works on basketball to get better at the sport he loves.
