Age Of Responsibility: A Big Controversy

83 Words1 Pages
The age of responsibility has been a big controversy. At age 16 a person is given the right to drive, at age 18 they are considered an adult, at age 21 they can legally drink. However an 18-year-old still does not have the same rites as a 21-year-old or a 25-year-old? At 21 a person can legally drink and at 25 can legally rent a car. These spread out ages of responsibility can be misleading to when a person is truly an adult.
