1. Do you agree with Mark’s decision not to tell Annie about the seriousness of her illness?
.
I personally don’t agree in any way that Mark’s did not tell Annie about how serious her disease was at that point. He violate Annie’s right of choosing also he didn’t give her the opportunity to say a proper good bye to her two children 2. Should the physician have spoken to Annie as to the seriousness of her illness?
It was absolutely unethical from the Dr Brown not to tell Annie, who in this case, was the patient what he has found while he was operating . Dr. Brown as physician has the obligation to be honest with his patients and always tell the truth weather that truth is bad or good news. Moreover he should have never for any circumstances allow Mark to hide the news from Annie’s. 3. Describe the ethical dilemmas in this case (e.g., how Annie’s rights were violated).

This really took Annie’s right to make any decision about her illness and treatment.
4. Place yourself in Annie’s shoes, the physician’s shoes, and Mark’s shoes, and then discuss how the lives of each may have been different if the physician had informed Annie as to the serious-ness of her illness.
If we see things from Annie’s point of view she disserved to be told the truth about her illness. It was so wrong from her husband and Dr Brown not to just hide but lie about her illness. This gives her false hope that she would get better and have her life back with her kids and family. However that wasn’t the case and she might didn’t even have the time to say a proper good bye to her children.
From Mark’s point of view this was provable terrible just knowing that his wife was going to died and that she was going through physical suffering .He thought he was doing the right thing and his way of showing compassion to his wife was hiding the truth
