At one point in the book “The Autobiography of Miss Jane Pittman” I felt really bad for Jane. I feel bad that she had to go through all she did, but I personally think it was a little too much when she knew what was going to happen to her husband, but she couldn’t do anything about it. In the movie, Jane’s Husband was breaking a stallion. Jane had a feeling about that horse so she went to a HooDoo. The HooDoo said that her husband was going to die because of that horse. Jane was really worried so she went home, and let the horse out. Her husband saw her, and he went on one of the horses bareback, and started to ride the horse to the stallion that had been let out of its cage. Jane’s husband made the mistake of tying the rope to his hand, and roping bareback. The horse pulled him off, and dragged him to death. The next morning Jane woke up, and was watching the horse. The horse came close enough that she saw her husband being dragged. Although she felt terrible that her husband had died from that horse, she felt it was her job to break that horse so the horse would never do something like that again. She didn’t know what to do. She had no experience breaking horses. She decided to go to one of her husband's friends, and ask him what all to do when you are breaking a horse safely. She said that she wanted to help break the stallion that killed her husband. He said that he would help her, but it was going to take a lot of work. The next day, Jane was helping break horses. Whatever she had to do to help she would do. That same day, she was walking with the horse, and the horse started to buck, and kick. She didn’t know what to do. She just started to run away from the stallion. The man said to Jane, “There is no way you are going to be able to break that
