Nov 14, 2017 An inconvenient truth is a documentary about the problems of global warming recorded by former vice president of the United States, AI Gore, in 2006. The author used scientific results, data, and graphs to illustrate how serious the impact of global warming is. People cannot regard that as a political issues anymore. This is the biggest problem of the moral challenge in human civilization. Global warming is caused by human who made lots of greenhouse gases, like carbon dioxide, entered in atmosphere. Infrared rays (heat) that the Earth should have radiated back into space are kept in the atmosphere. Starting this persuasion, the audience have already believed that they can make a change and wanted to hear more information of the global issue. Furthermore, the author explained the severity of the problem with lots of statics. "In all of this time, 650,000 years, the CO2 level has never gone above 300 parts per million." The strategy of logos brought scientific facts to make audience agree with his idea. A great static is very important that people can realize this is not fake. Then, AI Gore showed the current situation which the CO2 level has already excessed the 300 parts per million in the current year. These carbon dioxides not only showed how the environment is affected, but our human. "We’ve had 30 so-called new diseases that have emerged just in the last quarter century, and a lot of them, like SARS, have caused tremendous problems." Moreover, the disease shows the related problems with human. It is very direct that we can feel the truth of the impact of global warming. The history is real, people cannot negate this argument.
