He soon decided that he wanted to become a radio musician. B.B left his church so he can join the St. John's Quartet and play guitar. Then King was taken in for almost a year by Bukka White, as he continued to develop a music career. In 1948, he had his first performance on Sonny Boy Williamson’s radio program.
Byron E. King Byron E. King was born on May 4, 1910 a white male who went to the Missouri Penitentiary for killing a taxi driver who goes by the name George Speer in St. Louis his motive was to rob the 68 year old of his money which was only $3.25 on January 17th, 1936 Speer told them that it was King when he was on his deathbed. He is one out of 40 people who was killed in the gas chamber he died with Hydrocyanic acid gas poison. The night that it happen before he was executed at 1:28 a.m., King smoked cigarettes and chatted with the prison staff, He was dead seven minutes later. He was 27 years old when he died on November 4th, 1938.

Asa Philip Randolph was born April 15, 1889 in Crescent City, Florida. To James and Elizabeth Randolph, the father who was a Methodist minister. According to Biography.com, both were supporters of the equal rights for the African american population in the U.S (Biography.com Editors, "A. Philip Randolph"). In his later years he would attend Cookman institute, which was one of the only schools to offer higher education of the African American population. After that he would start the Brotherhood of Labor with his business partner Chandler Owen.
Rodney Alcala, infamously known as the Dating Game Killer, was born on August 23, 1943, in San Antonio, Texas, and died on July 24, 2021, while serving his sentence. Raised by his mother after his father left the family when Alcala was young, his childhood was marked by instability and trauma. Reports suggest that his mother was overprotective and frequently moved the family, which may have contributed to Alcala's difficulty forming stable relationships. Despite outward appearances, there were no significant signs of criminal behavior during his early years.
Rodney Alcala: Autobiography Rodney Alcala, a serial killer, murdered at least 9 women and girls across the US in the 1970s. Rodney had been to prison for sexual assault and other crimes, but that didn’t seem to stop him as he continued to rape and kill. The autopsies of the victims showed that he would strangle women and then wait until they regained consciousness before the final kill. His final crime before being put behind bars forever was the abduction and murder of a 12-year-old girl. Alcala ended up dying of natural causes in 2021.
The Life of Solomon Northrup Solomon Northrup was born to two free African Americans who had never experienced the life of a slave. In 1841, his life turned upside down when he was kidnapped and sold into slavery in Washington City. Solomon was a fiddle player who went to Washington for a job offer that ended up being just a scam. It seems like he was a trusted and fearless man. For twelve years, he was exposed to the horrors of being treated as a slave.

BB King was a legend as an adult, but he started as a child where he was influenced to start music. When BB king was younger he was influenced to do music when he sang in local churches and school spiritual quartet. As a kid BB king played music in the streets of his home town then he moved to perform professionally. His cousin even gave him his first guitar. After he was influenced he got his big big break BB king moved to memphis where he started to work as a radio DJ and got his stage name.
Famous guitar named lucille: B.B. King’s famous guitar Lucille got its name while he was attending a dance at Twist. During the dance, a fire broke loose because a barrel lit with kerosene was knocked over. King was evacuating the dance when he remembered his guitar and almost died trying to retrieve it. King later learned that a woman name Lucille erupted a fight which caused the barrel to fall over. He vowed to never do anything so foolish ever again which is why he named his guitar Lucille to always remind him of his vow.

In the book The House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros, the author gives us a lovely representation of a coming of age novel. The book was released in 1984 in Chicago, where the author spent most of her time writing this in her apartment in Illinois.
