Alcohol is a substance that impairs the user who drinks by making one unable to perform or act normally. Alcohol usually can affect one by impairing their decisions, speech, motor skills, and memory. Many college students today and high school students are subjugated to peer peruse and are often forced into playing games that involve drinking. These games seem to be all in fun now. Many of these games include beer pong, flip cup, and out drinking one another. Typically, these games include the consumption of alcohol and competition between peers. The difference that separates normal drinking and game drinking is the amount and state of mind one are while doing both. These alcoholic games can easily seduce one into over drinking leading to alcohol poisoning, unsafe decisions, and even death. Studies have shown that high school and college students who begin playing alcoholic games at a young age typically suffer from drinking problems later in life or that they die earlier due to liver disease. These forms of games are very attracting to play because in most individuals minds it seems to be just a game. A game is something one thinks of as harmless and fun. However, since alcohol is a part of these harmless games it is not safe at all. Since these games promote binge drinking many are often left in the state where they are unable to take care of themselves. This tragically can lead many into scaring events like rape, accidents, and regretful decisions that will stick with one for a long time.
