Kevin Moore, an inmate formerly housed at the Poplar Hill Pre-Release Unit, raises a failure to protect claim against Defendants, Sergeant William D. Jones and Correctional Officer II Ivan Tilghman, resulting from a physical altercation Plaintiff had with another inmate. He further alleges that he would not have sustained injury if Defendant Warden John Wolfe had appropriate security in place but fails to allege any allegations against him. Irrespective of whether Plaintiff has stated a claim, he failed to exhaust administrative remedies, prior to filing suit; therefore, the Amended Complaint must be dismissed. ECI is not a person amenable to suit and is entitled to sovereign immunity.
Thru my investigation, I found that the DSS began recruiting non-profit organizations in the community like La Alianza to fulfill its sociocultural gap; especially, racial and ethnic minorities to provide the welfare for the abused and neglected children in the state of Massachusetts. A collaborative relationship with La Alianza was established by DSS, with an intention to manage and offer better child welfare services. La Alianza was highly reputable at the time in fulfilling its mission. DSS hoped that La Alianza would close the cultural sensitivity gap they were struggling with in providing the childcare and family needs in the Hispanic community.
Antwone suffers from displacement and repression, and he also deny a lot about his pass experiences. With that being said, my treatment recommendation for Antwone is the psychoanalytic theory. Antwone denies and bottles up all the anger that he has from his pass without realizing that it is causing him more harm. He refused to talk about these issues because he thought that he does not have an issues. With all the anger bottled up, he tends to displace them by lashing out on his co-workers.

A crime that recently happened was the Marrisa Alexander case. A mother of 3 sentence to 20 years in prison for firing a warning shot at her abusive husband. Can we use rational choice theory to state that Marrisa Alexander, was a delinquent who committed this crime with all understanding of the law and knowledge of penalty? Physical and verbal abuse can blur the line for a victim that rational thinking may sometimes become and irrational. We will review if Ms. Alexander case, to better understand was this crime committed by a criminal or someone under duress, was rationality used during this incident, and was all preventive measures taken to prevent this crime or was this a case where the law provided no justice for the victim.
Now as I’ve been agreeing with all the test’s results and their meanings behind them, there is something that Ms. Kendra Cherry speaks of that I don’t agree with, and that is some of her career choices for ISFJ people. Now she does gives an examples of some that are good choices such as a bookkeeper, banker, and an accountant, she thinks that some of the best career choices for people with the personality type are social worker, counselor, teacher, etc. The reason why I disagree with her choices is that I feel that her choices don’t go well with people who have the ISFJ type of personality. Knowing what it means to be a ISFJ, you would know by now that people who have this type of personality are kinds of people who wouldn’t fit the mold of
Assignment 01 While Anne was visiting her mother, Bernice, for a couple of days, she noticed that Clint was loitering in the neighborhood. Clint’s conduct looked suspicious, and Anne and Bernice learnt that Clint had been released on bail after being charged for serious crimes. P4- when looking at strategies and communication techniques used with different individuals with different needs whom need to overcome different challenges many aspects must be looked at. A challenge Patrick may face may be awareness and knowledge, he may face this as well as others. Patrick may be aware that he has HIV however he may not be aware how much this will effect him and he may not be aware how to deal with it as he may lack the knowledge. In order to overcome this Patrick could educate himself in depth on HIV, this will help him come to terms with it and will also help him to help others understand HIV. A challenge Alice may face might be acceptance or belief, she may not have the determination to become alcohol free and therefore
Assignment 301 - Task B a) As a trainer, appropriate behaviour needs to be controlled initially by the setting of boundaries, although not all boundaries will resolve behaviour. This is essential to help ensure all rules are understood and followed all the time, and will then prevent trainees taking advantage of the others in the group. Rules need to be respected, and trust from the learner to progress.

In Social Problems, Anna Leon-Guerrero (2016) she states, “… The functional perspective, examines the functions or consequences of the structure of society. Functionalist use a macro perspective, focusing on how society maintains social order” (13). Society has created expectations on what is viewed as acceptable or unacceptable behavior and this can include criminal behavior. This is any deviation from the social norms that are agreed by the majority of the community and the violation of any existing laws that is passed by legislation. For an example, a single parent losses’ his or her job and are worried whether the rent is covered with his or her last paycheck or whether they will qualify for food stamps.
The 1990’s are often regarded as one of America’s more prosperous decades, akin to the 1920’s and 50’s. Good economic conditions such as these both rise from and stimulate competition in various markets. In an attempt to stay ahead of their rivals, The Daily News printed their newspapers with a fully colored front page for the first time on June 5, 1997 (Peterson). As newspapers were competing against not only other newspapers but alternate forms of media as well, The Daily News was looking to color pictures to catch the eye of potential readers, and hopefully stay relevant in the news market. While The Daily News was trying to get ahead, one local paper was fighting just to stay in the game.
In the case study, I would like to use several theories and concepts to analysis the case of Susan. I would briefly analysis the case by using social ecological theory and analysis in detail by using the relevant theories. According to the social ecological theory, the child development is supported by five subsystems, including the microsystem, mesosystem, exosystem, macrosystem and chronosystem (Bronfenbrenner, 1979). Microsystem is related to the child has direct interaction with, including classmates and parents.
I also started to use Quizlet. so when I didn’t understand a certain chapter Quizlet would help me understand it so I can understand that chapter. 10) I feel like Brother Kenneth is a good fit to write my letter of recommendation since he currently active in the Boy Scouts of America so that means that he knows what I need to do outside of school in Boy Scouts and also when I participate in S.A.L.T.
