According to the patient's status as it's known Alzheimer's disease is a type of dementia, which affect the memory, thinking and behavior. Alzheimer's occurs due to aging, family history or genetics. Early signs of Alzheimer's are memory loss where the patient forgets appointments, family members and forget recently learned information.
