While conducting a face to face interview with Marilyn Harrison the director of the operation, Marilyn stated that Maleigh B. the victim was wearing flip flops on the day of the incident and was informed of the incident when Thelma Honea had brought Mayleigh to her after she fell on the playground, Ms. Harrison stated the child was crying and saying her arm was hurting but there was no swelling of the arm and Mayleigh was moving it around and using it. Ms. Harrison stated that Maleigh runs every where she goes and is continuous told to walk.
