Many soldiers have to endure the pain of being away from their families so long. Soldiers need to accept the fact that they might not live another day serving for their country. America has lost many battles and many warriors in our history in war. The book American Sniper by Chris Kyle is about a Navy Seal sniper who shares his experiences while in combat. He faces many obstacles while in war and he goes through hell and back so he can go back and live for his country and family. It is important he shares these feelings and experiences so he can open up how he feels deep inside about the traumatic past he had to go through.

He had a daughter he loved so deeply . Every time he would come back from One of his tours it was very hard for him . He loved his family and seeing them for the first time in a long time but he always needed time off from people and society so he would have a hard time communicating with his family . He wive states that when he would come home for three weeks , he’d spend one week inside his room isolated from Everyone and everything. It hit him hard that he had to do the things at war in Order to keep his loved ones safe. As a soldier in combat he kept his country in mind instead of his family or himself. He becomes a hardcore die hard patriotic person that will go to any extent to save his unit of brothers. He understands that part of his job includes him having to put his life on the line. This shows courage and his true colors. He said in the book “i would lay dead for this nation”. While he was a Navy SEAL, he accomplished many tasks that many other human beings would not be able to bare with.
Chris Kyle served four tours in the military from the year 1999 to 2009. He was serving in the Iraq War. He was awarded many commendations . He was a heroic figure and well respected amongst his colleagues. He was awarded four bronze medals , one silver star medal , and a navy and Marine corps achievement medal. He had 175 confirmed sniper kills while he served and it most known as the deadliest sniper in U.S History. He was so well respected by his peers they nicknamed him “the legend “.
