Amy Joyner a student from Howard High School of Technology in Wilmington, Delaware was killed in a restroom fight. Where she was furiously beaten and jumped by girls from her school. She died as a result of injuries she sustained during the fight. The police are yet to put charges on the students who were involved in Joyner death, they have only been suspended from school. If schools provide students with a better system of security maybe cases like this can be prevented. Nowadays young girls are getting into fights over insignificant things. The case of Joyner some people say it was over a boy. If so how can this sixteen-year-old teen lose her life in a fight over a boy. Actress Viola Davis twitted a truthful statement regarding this situation on her twitter account. “When are charges going to be filled against the girls involved in the death of Amy Joyner. As a mother…a human, this makes my heart sick!” I honestly fully agree with this statement, someone unjustly lost a life, and there’s yet to put charges against those girls who ended her life. Not only did they kill her but furiously beat her up to death. The girls that are responsible for Joyner beating should be charge for murder, and be arrested for her killing. They might be young, but what they did has no justification for ending someone life, in a horrible way. Therefore, they should be held accountable for their actions, because beaten and jumping someone is not right. No one should ever have to lose their life in that type of manner. All persons involved in the situation need jail time. The main fighter should be charged with murder, the other girls who jumped in need to be charged with assault. Not charging these girls would be wrong it would be basically telling them it was okay to kill
