In conclusion, Tom Robinson shares lots of similarities with the mockingbird in different ways. Hs is innocent and does no harm, but the community ignores his voice and kills him for no reason. Just like a mockingbird, he is misjudged by most people. Throughout the novel “to kill a mockingbird” Tom is shown as the most evident victim, the mockingbird figure of the story. The mockingbird is beyond the character of Tom Robinson, and stretches further in terms if the whole society in the 1930s. Maycomb's black people are always persecuted by discrimination, and are forced to live in a society where they can be easily killed, imprisoned just like how mockingbirds are shot by people. The author, touches a subject on racism, addressing to the readers
