Meaning the way people choose to act and live as they carry out routine activities. Lifestyle choices play a challenging role in defining risk level. For instance, an individual with lower risk for victimization will be conscious of their atmosphere and avoid potentially dangerous situations like walking alone at night, dressing ostentatiously with expensive jewelry and clothing, or leaving doors unlocked to a car or home.
