One way paintings demonstrate this is the difference between the Mona Lisa and Madonna Enthroned Between Two Angels. The older painting, Madonna Enthroned Between Two Angles, is unrealistic and has rather depressing dark colors. While the Renaissance painting, the Mona Lisa, is not only much more realistic, but also a lot more cheerful, brighter feel, and became a true masterpiece (Doc A). In the paintings, the fact the Renaissance painting is brighter, more realistic and a famous masterpiece, shows that the Renaissance changed the art style into a unique, amazing representation that changed the entire future of art. The paintings from the Renaissance showed that people saw each other differently than before( Doc A).
He had developed new concepts for both art and architecture that had a huge impact on Renaissance society. During the early 1400’s, Brunelleschi’s ideas started to spark. Around 1415, Filippo had created an art technique called linear perspective. (Cove Collective- Article) Linear perspective is used when a single fixed point is in the distance and lines converge to meet that point, the result appears to give the piece of art more depth and a 3D look (making it look more realistic).
Freedom of poverty and individual rights ultimately what Mexican-American cultures strive to obtain in earlier times, according to Viramontes. Although this contains accuracy to an extent, today’s Hispanic American culture fight against stereotypes and hidden oppression of full individual rights. Remedification of potential and hard work is dismissed in this novel, due to Mexican-American’s job status and minimal education. This oppression often leaves Mexican-Americans to keep living in this lifestyle, obvlious to keep working and hopefully achieve grounds to move out of poverty. Bosch’s "Triptych of The Temptation of St. Anthony" and Boccaccio 's "Tenth Day: Tenth Story" both show the portrayal of human emotion in response to suffering. Both of these works of art use emotional realism. Emotional realism is a term used to describe the work of artists and writers who attempt to depict human emotion in a truthful, or realistic, manner. Boccaccio 's was born in Italy and was drawn to the arts.
Artists started to take pride in their artwork and began exploring new humanist themes in their art rather than focusing on the traditional biblical subject matter that was popular during the middle ages. Italian scholars and artists saw themselves as reawakening to the ideals and achievements of classical Roman culture. Renaissance art gave philosophers a different perspective on reality and this affected their writings from then on. Artists used the idea of symmetry and linear perspective which also led to people developing interests in math and science. Scientists and Mathematicians became inspired by the work of art being created just like how artists became inspired by philosophies and new theories coming into the time period.
People have told stories with marble, as well as ink. The focus of the Renaissance was the arts. Artists had evolved their skillsets since the Middle Ages, for example, their paintings weren’t 2D and they focused on people rather than just gods. The detail of sculptures and paintings became more realistic than it had been during the Middle Ages. In Michelangelo's sculpture David completed in 1504, he sculpted an image of David from David and Goliath holding a slingshot, before he kills the beast with a stone.

Leonardo believed that, the integration of the musical harmonies would bring symbiosis to the optical space of the painting and to the one viewing the painting. Leonardo clearly understood how single point perspective could control how the viewer perceived his painting. He employed this technique to draw our attention to Christ’s face which is at the center of the composition. Likewise Christ’s gaze is directed to his left hand whereby he is reaching for the ‘bread’.

The Last Supper is the final meal that Jesus Christ has with his Disciples before his crucifixion. The piece of art I am grateful for is “The Last Dinner of Jesus”. I am grateful for this piece of art because it is when our lord had his last meal before he died on the cross. He is with all of his “brothers” on a dining table having bread and wine. That is why I am grateful for this piece of art.
