So the beginning Johnny Tremain is apprentice working with a silversmith in Boston in 1773. Jonathan Lyte comes into the the shop to get his tea pot fixed, so Johnny offers to fix it himself but his “master” doesn’t think he can because he is not even done with half term. They try and try and try to get the handle just right but they couldn’t get it. So one day Johnny’s master left he was planning on pouring the melted metal in the mold until somebody was coming looking through the windows.

Scott Dinsmore first shared that the worst career advice he received from a friend was to not worry about how he likes the work he’s doing right now, and use that time to build his resume. Dinsmore describe his framework of success as a compass that must possess unique strengths, values, and experiences. Individuals first must become self-expert and know themselves and what they really want. This will lead to their discovery of unique strengths. Individuals then need to find their values, whether it may be family values or health values.
I have become more determined which is one of my strengths. What I have done to stay more focused is make a list of my priorities that I need to stay on task with. It makes me feel better about myself when I check things off my list. I have been also persistent which is another strength that will help me succeed and will help me become a better
Henry David Thoreau said, at one time, “If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.” I would say that while this is correct by way of defining success as the result of action, life isn’t always at the control of the individual, and that a person who single mindedly follows a goal will find themselves exhausted, when a better direction can be taken. Thoreau’s assertion has truth: Nothing happens in a state of inaction. The life of a human being is like the plotline of a story, and unless the character does something, the plot cannot and will not move forward.
Compare (similar) and contrast (different) Johnny and Dally what roles do they play in the novel? Johnny ad Dally are about as different as any two people can get. Even though they are apart of the same group ‘The Greasers’ they are considered very different. They played very different roles in the novel and there are almost no similarities between them but many differences.
Are your strength or problem-focused? I considering myself a strength focus (strengths-bases approach), because the person or an organization is presented with a problem that need to be solve. Therefore, for strengths-based approaches or strengths-based approaches is the best method since it concentrates on the inherent strengths of individuals, families, groups, and organizations, deploying personal strengths to aid recovery and empowerment. To focus on health and well-being is to embrace an asset-based approach where the goal is to promote the positive (Toner, 2016).
Nevertheless, it is the way that friction is approached that makes a difference. By applying my positive attitude and sense of finding a common ground among coworkers, it will enable me to apply this strength to my daily life. Lastly, the strength of achiever was a lesser theme for me compared to my other top strengths. I sometimes take on too many tasks and want to accomplish many things in order to make me feel good about myself. I am extremely committed to everything I do and influence others to succeed in what they do.
