One activity to engage children would be to discuss the Jewish holiday traditions such as lighting the menorah or the Passover Seder meal. Planning a simple Passover Seder and eating it while discussing the differences Daniel experienced in how meals were eaten at this grandmother’s home as opposed to how they ate at Josh and Thacia’s home would be an enjoyable learning activity. Another activity to incorporate into reading The Bronze Bow would be to discuss how the bronze bow is a symbol that reflects an ideal for Daniel, Joel, and Thacia. Encouranging children create a personal motto and then design a symbol that reflects the motto could spark their imagination.

“The Art Project” by Tomie de Pola is a book that explores the ideas of perseverance and believing in yourself and it teaches kids to not give in to teachers that are stricter to rules. This book also allows kids to see the hardships one may have to go through at a young age. This book is based on a purpose he did fulfill his purpose by getting his point across and showing how the kids even when they are young face difficulties in life but the book talks about not giving up through life when things get tough. I do recommend this book because it is a good book and it teaches kids at a young age to not be discouraged.

Their main purpose is to just torture and make Mr. Griffin think he is going to die. The plan takes a tragic turn and results in Mr. Griffin's death. The plan simply falls apart in a domino effect of terror and grief.

There is an outgoing trend on social media where Central American Latinos make this joke where they state that they speak Central American Spanish, not Caribbean Spanish. The audio of an individual speaking extremely fast to the point that it is hard to understand. The reason behind this joke is a long debate about what is considered proper Spanish among the Latinx community. Many Latinos and Latinas argue that the most proper Spanish is Mexican Spanish because it has fewer dialects and they speak at a moderate speed, therefore is considered easier to communicate because everyone can understand it. In contrast, Dominican, Puerto Rican, and Cuban Spanish are viewed as an unprofessional way of speaking Spanish because we have a lot of slang and

Joan Didion tries to describe the instinct that people have that tells them the Santa Ana winds are the reason for the change in the climate and within one another. Didion sets a dreadful tone to her essay by associating a set of words that contain unhappy connotations, with the wind. She begins the essay by setting up an unpleasing mood for the audience.

Students can use books to grow their knowledge about our everyday day life. “It is important to help students see that everyone 's view counts” (Scales). By allowing students to see different points of views they’re able to experience situations unfamiliar to them and learn about different cultures and societies. If they don’t have the opportunity to read these books then they might miss out on these vital lessons. Children need to know about sensitive topics and strong ideas.
