Have you ever had a treasure that you’ve kept precious to you?Do you think that you are the only one that knows it’s true worth. Well I disagree with that statement. Lemon Brown, who is a old man, who has a treasure that only he knows the real worth of it.
At the beginning of the story, Greg wants to join the scorpions basketball team. His dad is always bugging him about his grades. So his dad won’t let him play if he doesn’t get his grades up. This is what Greg’s dad treasure, Greg’s smarts. But Greg doesn’t think that getting good grades is important. Greg’s dad is trying to teach him that it is but Greg thinks otherwise. So later on that day, Greg meets an old man named lemon brown. While he was talking to lemon brown and about his past. Greg changes his mind about not caring about his grades and what it means to him. In the end, he realizes that a treasure worth can be know by the people who care.
