In the movie A Christmas Carol, Fred is an important character who is easily overlooked. But he plays an important role to the plot and to revealing other character’s traits. Fred is Scrooge’s (adult) nephew and only family in the movie. The first scene in Scrooge’s bank reveals him to be a young, average man with brown hair and a big forehead.
