In the movie The Christmas Carol, Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by three spirits. Scrooge did not like Christmas because his partner died on Christmas eve. This caused him to hate Christmas, and become a cold, hearted person. His last visit effected him in an emotional way. It changed the way he looks at the world, and has emotions for the people around him.
According to the text he is very Greedy. Scrooge insults his marriage because it has to do with love, and he is selfish and a terrible liar. The text said he doesn't know the big idea about christmas and calls everyone else a jerk and idiot for not trying to work and pay it off. The author explains what he looks like by saying he has a pointed nose, red eyes, thin lips, and a shrew grating voice.
By comparing and contrasting how he feels at the exposition and the end of the novel and going through the ghost’s visions influenced both Scrooge and us, the readers. Any reader can come to realize that he is an emotionally changed character for life. On top of that, readers can take away many valuable lessons. This classic novel will forever be cherished with the journey to the Victorian times, the meeting of spectacular characters along the way, but especially the remembrance of old Ebenezer Scrooge, the true father of Christmas spirit. As Dickens has said once, “God bless us every one.”
Scrooge obviously doesn’t like the presence of Fred nor does Scrooge like the idea of poor people celebrating christmas. This causes conflict between these family members, and highlights the negative issues within the relationship through fighting. In the passage called “The Highway Man” by Jimmy Web there are multiple examples of “death”. This passage was about a highway man that robbed people for valuables, and about a girl that had an interest in him.
Once Scrooge gets on the road the old men start talking to him. He feels bad about rejecting the donations at the begging of the story. Scrooge goes to Fred's house and has a great time.
It is a joyful celebration and Scrooge is shocked on why they so are happy when they are poor, He then sees Tiny Tim, Bob Cratchit’s son who is crippled and will die if not given medical attention . Scrooge feels regret not helping the Cratchits and is even more shocked when they toast him and this makes Scrooge feel guilty for not treating Bob better. Third, the spirit takes Scrooge to see his Nephew Fred’s house who is having dinner with his wife and even with his Scrooge’s attitude Fred doesn’t get angry with him and still loves him as an uncle. Scrooge is flattered knowing that his nephew still cares about him. Scrooge learns from Present that he should never forget you are loved “Well, true, wife, Uncle may rail at Christmas till he dies, I think I shook him some with my visit yesterday…
In the place of Ebenezer Scrooge’s outlook on life, he feels no joy. Ever since his lifelong business partner, Jacob Marley, kicked the bucket, Scrooge became more stingy than he ever was. A time of useless giving, robbery, is what Scrooge sees Christmas as.

Ebenezer Scrooge is the greedy man in the novel who values his money more than anyone or anything. His greed has caused many people to dislike him, even his employees find him cruel and cheap. He begins to change, however, when he is visited by his dead partner Jacob Marley. Marley warns Scrooge that three other Spirits will be visiting him throughout the night, and will help convince him to change his ways.
The novel A Christmas Carol is a very interesting book. The main character Scrooge does not understand what mankind’s business is in the beginning, but figures it out later on. Ebenezer Scrooge does not understand the true meaning of “business”. He believes that “business” means money. Through Scrooge’s development, Dickens shows that people should make mankind their business because that’s what we are here for.

Tiny Tim had the power to turn a Christmas hating, ungrateful person into someone who realizes the joy and meaning of Christmas. This all simply happened because of the acknowledgement of the presence of, unfortunate yet blessed, Tim. The appearance of Tiny Tim is not exactly one you would expect to see due to his situation.

Assessing the sources of feedback, I agree with how my boyfriend and friends perceived me. As Brian, Julia, and Sydney all mentioned, I do tend to speak my mind and I’m not afraid to tell the truth. The way all three of them know me very well and there isn’t any hidden information that possibly could alter their perspective of me, the way they perceive me is exactly how I perceive myself. Even though the perspectives I received were mostly positive, everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses to improve on. Some strengths I have in all areas of my life include patience, responsibility, organization, being well-planned, adaptable, and an upbeat personality.
