The time-frame of "Force Awakens" and "The Last Jedi" does not even last a week and in this time-frame the entire republic is destroyed, the rebellion is reduced to less then 50 people and everybody interesting inside the Star Wars Universe is dead.
I do not believe that "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was the best movie because the battle scenes seemed less important to the survival of the majority of the characters, and the villains seemed non threatening. The battle scenes between Luke and Darth Vader in the original six movies appeared to be very important. Because Luke played such an important role in the Rebel Alliance and the Jedi Order, every battle he fought in, it was crucial that he lived. The villains in Star Wars: The Force Awakens seemed very non threatening. The leader of the First Order, General Hux was “all bark, no bite”.
In the film adaptation of the novel, Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, some of the original aspects that make the novel so timeless are not included in the movie. However, due to the vastly different medium that film is and the abstractness of the novel, it makes sense why some things would have to change in order for the story to transfer to the screen successfully. While many die-hard fans of the novel denounce the film version of their beloved story, others celebrate the presence of Adams’ wit in the movie especially through the cartoon representations of the guide entries. First of all, the Hitchhiker’s Guide is pictured much differently in the movie than in the novel.
Like most of the details concerning Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the origins of the film's new two opposing sides have been a closely guarded secret. The original trilogy pit the menacing Galactic Empire against the rag-tag Rebel Alliance and now, some 30 years later, The Force Awakens continues the conflict with the former now known as the First Order and the latter known as The Resistance. We'll most likely have to wait until the movie to find out how exactly the two sides got to where they are but we did get some new information on the status of the Resistance courtesy of Oscar Isaac.
In Star Wars IV New Hope you see several things that are like our world. Like how people negotiate business deals with each other. In the video, Han Soto reminds me of a used car salesman. Trying to convince you that this vehicle is a life changer with stories about how great it is. It sounds all good until he tells you the ridiculous price.
As we all know, Star Trek has recently achieved enormous success with both Star Trek (2009) and Star Trek Into Darkness (2013) achieving mainstream appeal and gained enormous box office success. That’s truly something, but practically nothing compared to what The Force Awakens (2015) did last year both at the box offices and when it came to popular culture. To summarize, when it comes to the money the Star Wars series has made $2.8 billion, with eight episodes/films, while the Star Track crew earned $1.2 billion through 12 films! That’s
“Arrival” is a mystery, sci-fi drama directed by Denis Villeneuve in his wonderful betrayal of the unknown. ’Arrival’ digs deep into the unexpected, when a bunch of alien vessels land in 12 different spots on earth, leaving everyone curious about what their intent on earth is. 2, or they can be The Fate of the Furious , the Big Sick or Home Again, Despicable me 3 or Boss Baby. Half of these are decent films, but they are all safe investments, engineered with varying levels of craft to cater to a demographic and market share, and no one will be talking about them a year from
Guardians of the Galaxy is a Marvel team super hero film. Nonetheless, it is controversial to the audience whether it fits the sub-genre of a team-up film such as The Avengers. Due to the characters, none of them have their individual movie like Iron Man. However, James Gunn uses points of view and actor’s acting to enhance the intimacy among the characters that makes this movie fits into the team super hero film genre. In addition, Gunn uses makeups to not make any of the roles too standout because they all have unique appearances that balance out on screen.
For the moviegoer looking for a great movie to watch can be sometimes a challenge. Many times the preview trailer of a film may reveal too much, appearing to be good only to have been a bad movie or all the good parts shown in the trailer. Today going to a theater to watch a movie can be rather expensive and worse when the film was bad and a waste of time. Occasionally a relatively unknown movie can appeal to audiences in such a way to become a blockbuster.

I read the review of a kid’s film, “The Lego Movie” by Christy Lemire. The author seemed to be very surprised by the way she reacted to the film. She felt that it went beyond the traditional genre for children and provided a response in her review. What she felt astounding her, so much that she stated how the old cliché saying “I laughed, I cried” was very much true for her. The common expectations about the genre of the film that she points out in her review is catchy theme songs, predictable scenes, hacky punchlines, and an exhausting simple message.
Why drinking age should be lowered? If one is considered an adult at age eighteen in most of the country, are they not allowed to purchase and legally consume alcohol? The minimum legal drinking age needs to be lowered, and not just for that reason. The amount of teenagers with drinking problems and alcoholism is far greater than in Europe, where drinking ages are far lower. Also, studies show that the current minimum age drinking laws have been ineffective to a high degree.
