I have done your suggestion and not followed that law to stand up for what I believe in. Many of the Northerners are also not after the law either, so they can’t fine and arrest all of us. Many are now standing up because of a book that was written called Uncle Tom’s Cabin. Uncle Tom’s cabin is a book that was written by Harriet Beecher Stowe, an abolitionist about slavery and the south misusing slaves. Up here the book was very popular and it showed a written work of how the slaves were treated, while the white southerners thought that the book had inaccurately criticized slavery as well as the South. The book caused chaos between the North and South. Also causing slavery to be an even bigger deal than it was before and now it's the West slavery
