When the class is watching, everyone was amazed to the characters especially to Robert De Niro because being Leonard Lowe is hard to act. But he did like he has a disease like Leonard’s true story. I do not wonder if they had received lots of awards because they acted seriously and they gave their best in acting. All characters are extremely good and deserves for the income that they got.
As the viewer of the Awakenings, I liked the part when everybody get up unto their bed and walk through the corridors. That moment, I had a relieved heart because I’m happy to saw them walking and talking just like an ordinary people. Therefore; I hate the time when Leonard Lowe was blocked by the police and begone him just a while. That part was a little dramatic scene that made other people cries including me. I learned also that you should try and try until you succeed because in medical course you should have a widest mind and can think what you should do next.
My score for this movie is A because I learned a lot and this is an inspirational motivation to all patients with this kind of disease. If only I can give higher than A, I surely do it. To all the cast of this movie, as a student, I salute them by all of my heart. Those patients give us inspiration because if they can live longer, so are we. Even though they had disease like that, they didn’t give up until the end.
