In this essay I will be discussing the ideology of a man and his believes on life around him. Throughout the essay I will be adding additional information by using “whatever works” movie scenes and “Plato’s” book to help me support the theory that the movie is about the connection people have on religion, relationship, and love. Movies and books are great sources to have when trying to support a point. Therefore when looking specifically at the culture and the main issues addressed in the movie “whatever works” we can support and figure out the meaning. I will also be adding on to by using platos book to show the solvency on the main issue dealing with culture. However we see two types of culture definitions. One being the aspect seen as religious and the second could be the idea of continues practice between each other. To explain the first definition of culture we can clearly see it when the female character is seeing trying to get food from the male character. He allows her to stay over for a few days so they being to talk about her family situation and her religious believe. As soon as the conversation started he began to voice his opinion on his believes over the religious aspect. He told her that he dint believe in the idea of god which made her listen to him. As for the second definition which is the idea of doing something at continues matter. It began when she stayed over and started gaining feeling for the male character. They had a daily schedule.
