Roman civilization is said to go as far back as 625 BC and continued throughout history as a strong territory. Early Rome was ran by kings. This lasted until the king that went by the name of Tarquin was overthrown by the people of the city. The Roman Nobility took over power and were called the Senate. Rome was now known as a Republic and would remain until a man by the name of Julius Caesar came to power in 60 BC.
Rome’s civilization was greatly influenced by the Etruscans. The Etruscans were people whose civilization flourished in Central Italy in the 8th Century BC. Tarquin the Proud was an Etruscan and he was Rome’s seventh and last king. The Romans believed he was really wicked, so after he was driven out, the Romans decided they will never have king to rule over them. Their republic system was designed to stop any one person from becoming too powerful (Chrisp 7).

The fall of Rome was mainly because of plagues wiping out most of the population. The fall of the Han dynasty began from decentralized rule.
