Judaism is an ancient monotheistic religion, believing in a single all-powerful god, which dates back to c. 2000 B.C.E. In the Judaism religion there is a wide range of text that is taken into account as well as practices, theological position and different forms of organization. Judaism can be mapped back to the promise God made to Abraham and his descendants (Genesis chap.17). God told Abraham that his offspring’s would receive the land of Canaan and will encompassed an area spreading from the Nile to the Euphrates Rivers. God also made a second promise to Abraham and it was based on a more spiritual aspect, this promise stated that all of Abraham offspring’s in every area of the world would be blessed.
God promise was then fulfilled in Exodus Chap. 19 to Moses; when god himself revealed his laws and commandments to Moses on Mount Sinai. This created the movement of Judaism which appeared from Rabbinic Judaism and has been the conventional method of Judaism. Although the Jewish people faced many trials and tribulation, it is believed that Judaism has remained strong over the centuries because of God. It is safe to believe that their view on marriage are also different.
