My approach to art is colorful, well structure and must be well painted. Andy Goldsworthy’s art sculptures has all the above, but what unique about Andy’s art is that they are artificially created. Goldsworthy use natural materials such as brick, leaves, ice, snow, rock and so much more to make his art. Goldsworthy’s sculpture made me recognize that art can be anything you want to be and can also be made out of anything. Andy Goldsworthy is a British photographer and sculptor. Goldsworthy was born in July 29, 1956 in Cheshire, England. Andy was raised in West Yorkshire and worked in a farm as a child. Through the experiences he had as a farmer, Andy developed an intense awareness of his environment and appreciation for the ephemeral qualities of landscape. Andy studied Fine Art at Bradford school of art and Preston Polytechnic at Preston, Lancashire. During his college years, Andy became familiar with other British artist and following similar environmental doctrines, including Richard Long and Hamish Fulton.
