Devotion. Devotion is one word that can take many forms. People can be devoted to many different things: friends, family, work, and past times. What does it mean to be devoted? Being devoted is defined as love, loyalty, or enthusiasm for a person, activity, or cause.
What do you consider loyalty? Who would you give your loyalty to family? Or the law? Loyalty could be defined in many ways. Loyalty mean to me the nature of being loyal to someone.
The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines loyalty as faithfulness to a private person to whom faithfulness is due. Loyalty is a concept shown throughout The Outsiders up to this point. In a gang, you are expected to be loyal until death. In Chapter 2 it is said that, "When you're a gang, you stick up for the members. If you don't stick up for them, stick together, make like brothers, it isn't a gang anymore”
Imagine you are a dog, an ugly dog, and I mean ugly. Imagine you lost respect from your master, even after doing everything right. You are loyal, but judged by one mistake. So now I’m going to tell you how loyalty doesn 't guarantee you respect.
The Webster’s Dictionary defines the word “loyalty” as “the quality or state or an instance of being loyal” (Webster’s Dictionary). Throughout the book, Robin Hood was always loyal to the people of Nottingham, by giving them food, money, and helping them when they needed help. Another definition of loyalty is, “Loyalty is the feeling of allegiance to a course of action. Heroes in stories are known for their act of extreme loyalty where they even risk their life to save someone close to them. Robin Hood and his friends are examples of heroes with intense loyalty” (Speed Up Career).
Loyalty and Friendship Loyalty what does it mean? According to Webster's online dictionary loyalty means to form a strong alliance and to have a strong feeling of support. What about friendship? Friendship means to have a strong and mutual bonding relationship.

This can be a good tool for people whose blood sugar drops very fast. Service animals benefit a person’s life by allowing their owners to have someone around at all times, getting their owners moving, and helping owners with everyday tasks.

Right off the bat, I would have to disagree with Robbins and Judge (2017) when they explain that the word loyalty is outdated and that no employers keep employees around for an extended amount of time and that employees do not stick around for an entire career (p. 92). In my current workplace, I work directly with individuals who have been with the University of Oklahoma for more than 20 years. That screams loyalty to me. However, this is not to say that these individuals are over the moon for their jobs. Many of the employees have moved around from position to position but they have kept their loyalty with the university.

Which is associated with psychological process integrating with the psychophysiological effects of human-animal interactions backed up by the studies.

In the text, “Hachiko, The Story Of A Loyal Dog” in paragraph 16 there was a sentence that gave a great example of the loyalty between a dog and a human. Hachiko, the dog, would sit at the station everyday and wait, even though his owner, Dr. Uneo, was never coming back. After weeks, months, and even years, Hachiko had been waiting for his owner at the station. He was so loyal to his owner, that he
