A lot of books are made into movies. Sometimes, the movie is an accurate representation of the characters, plot, and setting. Some movies, however, share very little with the book(s) they were based on. The first Percy Jackson movie is an example of an adaptation that did not correlate with the book by Rick Riordan. The differences between the Lightning Thief book and its movie include the appearance of the central characters, the personalities of the main characters, and the ending.
Grover Under world is a major character too: He and Percy are best friends for life, They have a lot of things in common. Quote said by Percy was: “ I met her eyes, trying to ask a thousand questions, there was just one message she was sending me though: run”.

But they have very different personalities.so they are different, but also the same When they are faced with their adventures they did not want to do it. When looking at the Holocaust, most people agree that it was atrocious and one of the worst marks on the history of our planet. However, what they don’t realize is why people did not help those in need. As it turns out, there were valid reasons why change did not occur. In The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, these thoughts are explored as the main character, Liesel, learns about her country. Liesel and her foster family take in a Jew, something that shows their allegiance with the anti-Hitler cause.
Percy 's birth into his Hero Cycle occurs when he crosses into Camp Half Blood for the very first time. His subsequent call to adventure is when he consults with the Oracle. During his visit to the Oracle, Percy learns what he must do in order to be successful on his quest. Chiron, also known as Mr. Brunner, assists Percy in his initial preparation for his quest. Personally, I believe that everyone makes mistakes that can change their lifestyle forever. The Book Thief, which is written by Markus Zusak, is a novel that written from the point of view of Death. Concentrating on the Holocaust, Zusak focuses the novel on a little girl named Liesel and how she moves on through her life. Lamb to the Slaughter, written by Roald Dahl, is a short story where a woman murders her husband with a leg of lamb for a mistake that he made. Shortly after, she used her brains to figure her way out of that mess.
Again, Percy’s ability to communicate and coordinate a team are tested, but unlike the encounter with the furies, he is successful this time. Percy’s growth is especially clear when he acknowledges Annabeth’s successful calculations, saying “If we’d have jumped when I thought we should’ve, we would’ve crashed”, admitting that Annabeth saved their lives (240). Percy communicates well, delegating responsibilities— “‘Get into that booth! Find the ‘on’ switch’” he yells to Grover, “‘Unfasten your seatbelt’” he yells to Annabeth—to guide the group. The test of the waterpark displays Percy’s confident leadership abilities as he coordinates
