Anne Bradstreet Discrimination due to sex has occurred throughout history and the field of literature. She prizes nothing more than her husband and physical items of the world. Anne is saying that love is constant and sexual in the poem “ my love is such that rivers cannot quench, nor ought, but love from thee, give recompense.”
Anne can’t repay how much she loves her husband. She thinks he is the most perfect man that health cannot deny. “Then while we live, in love let’s so persevere, that when we live no more, we may live forever.” While we will persevere our love. Even when we shall perish our love will forever live.
