Anne Frank is one of the world’s most well known children of the world and a true heroine. Because she was so hopeful, joyful and smart in time of destruction and depression. Some of the strongest evidence of her heroism in the play about her life in the secret annex is when Anne gives all the people living with her homemade Hanukkah presents. Even when they did not get her or anyone else a gifts. She put a lot of thought an effort into the gifts to just make her family and friends.
Amsterdam in World War II was horrible for jews,because during February 22,1941 jews were getting arrested by the Germans,but all together they deported the seven hundred jews to Buchenwald concentration camp. And then some of the jews were deported from Buchenwald to Mauthausen camp and by then most of those jews were killed their. Anne Frank was a German jewish tennager who was forced to go to hiding during the Holocaust. She was born June 12,1920, Anne and her family, along with four others spent over two years during World War II, hiding in an annex full of rooms above her father’s office in Amsterdam. Anne Frank later on in life died in March 12,1945 in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp in Germany.
Anne Frank was a young Jewish girl living in Amsterdam during the occupation by the Nazis. She was forced to go into hiding above her father's work for two years to avoid prison. During her time in hiding, she kept a diary and wrote about her experience. Frank writes about her loving and compassionate family and also mentions how she has built new relationships with the other families in the house. In her diaries, Frank frequently emphasizes the value of family, emphasizing how her trials were made easier by the presence of those she loved who understood what she was going through.
The book The Things They Carried, written and narrated by Tim O’Brien, tells many stories of Alpha Company before, after and during the infamous Vietnam War. Tim O’Brien’s narration helps the reader understand the theme of Storytelling. The stories and chapters that highlight this theme the most are; The Lives of the Dead, which talks about O’Brien’s early friend Linda, The Man I Killed, which talks about the man Tim O’Brien killed and Good form, which delves into the truth about telling a real war-story. O’Brien had told stories about a girl he was in love with when he was younger. Linda was the love of his life at age nine and she loved him just as much.
It became hard for Anne, she was put into a segregated Jewish school, her father even had to give up his title in his business. On June 12, 1942 Anne got a diary for her birthday, this will later be the reason we know Anne Frank’s story. On July 5, 1942 Anne’s family were forced into hiding; it was no longer safe for their family to live in the outside world. She wrote in her diary “ The world will keep turning without me, and I can’t do anything to change events anyway.” The family spent two years in hiding, it wasn't till August 4, 1944 that the family was found by the police, they arrested everyone in hiding.
Anne Frank and her family were in hiding for two years. During those two years, the family lived in an Annex with another family named the Van Daans. Also during these two years she wrote in her diary about her experiences of each day and what her wishes were. Her father Otto Frank and her mother Edith Frank including the Van Daans would try and take care of the family as best as they could. In hiding, they were not able to leave their home as they might get caught.

In June 12, 1929, a baby was born. Her name was Annelies Marie Frank. She was a Jewish girl born in Frankfurt, Germany. Childhood Anne had a sister, named margot, a father named otto and a mother named Edith who stayed at home and looked after her.

On her 13 birthday she got a diary that she wrote in while in hiding. When she was 15 her and her family was sent back to the concentration camp. But her diary had gotten left behind in the annex.

Anne Frank’s Character Development Throughout the War Throughout World War II Anne Frank was kept hidden away in a 500 square foot building they came to call the Secret Annexe. Anne Frank, her family, and the Van Daans endured difficult times of hunger, thirst, and lack of privacy cornered by walls for over two years. Anne confided her observations and feelings of the hard times within her diary she named Kitty. By writing in her diary both before and after the war, one could visibly notice how Anne went into the Annexe as a juvenile and came out as a young adult.
In Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl, Anne Frank and the other people in the secret annexe had a rough life. Anne faced a tough challenge which was being stuck in a secret annexe and not seeing life outside. Another person that faced a challenge was Margot and it was that she was very insecure about herself. Anne responded to her challenge by saying that everything was going to be ok even with all of the bad things happening around her. Margot responded to her challenge by not talking to people anymore and fading off into the distance.
It was on her 13th birthday that she got a diary. In her diary, she wrote about her friendships, crushes and her academic performance at school. Anne had an older sister named Margot, and they attended a Jewish school in Amsterdam. In this diary, the Franks moved to Netherlands from Germany because they feared prosecution. After the Germans invaded the Netherlands in 1940, the Franks, another family called the van Daans and Mr Russell hid in a small secret annex above Otto Frank’s, Anne’s father’s office.
