Like most girls her age, Anne Frank also wallowed in the trivialities of adolescence: boys, gossip, and stormy standoffs with her Mother, Edith. Anne kept her diary from June 1942, to August 1944, when the Gestapo raided the family's hiding place. In the first entries in the diary Anne tells that she has just turned 13 years old . She seems to bubbly with laughter and loves to live, playing Ping-Pong, participating in pranks, and flirting with boys. For example, Anne had conflict with Peter, who is a shy boy that had no choice to hide with her and her family.
Dealing With Conflict and Hard Times When it comes to dealing with tough times such as going to internment camps or hiding from Nazi soldiers so that they aren’t taken to centration camps, there are three important questions that come into play; What motivates people to move through hard times and moments? , What can people do to help others going through tough problems?, and Who can people go to to help them through tough times or conflict? The basic meaning of this is that Anne felt mistreated and she wanted to be able to treat them the way she said they treated her. Anne would get on the others’ nerves by saying what she thought and not filtering her words. Upon coming to the new world, Anne grew more into the love of writing. She slowly made it so that she was making small rebellious differences in her writing from the norm. Over the course of the story other characters join the family into hiding such as Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan, and their son Peter. During the time of hiding, Anne kept a diary to write down all her thoughts, fears, and feelings and was later known to be the most important piece of literature from the times of the Holocaust. The story takes you through their everyday lives of hiding in the annex which also includes arguing and times of happiness.
