The years of the diary were during his journey through the Trail of Tears between 1828 and 1839. Burnett was a reserved person who was just fine with being by himself for weeks at a time. As he hunted more and more, he became acquainted with many of the Cherokee Indians who grew to eventually become his friends.

However, I lived in a community where speaking English was the majority and I was very clearly, a minority. There were hardly any other people who spoke Vietnamese where I lived. Because of this, I slowly lost my grasp with the Vietnamese language and my ability to communicate with my family This was terrifying for me; as a result, I have made efforts to learn and speak Vietnamese even though it sounds horrendous because I still have a voice and want to be heard.
In the first argumentative paragraph of her work, Smith blatantly states the point as to why some libraries are of more popularity than others. In this argument, she states that a popular library is popular because it offers "an indoor public space in which you do not need to buy anything to stay". In the areas of writing leading up to this claim within this paragraph, the author sets up a comparison between libraries deemed "neglected" and those considered "well-run".

Because the Internet paves the way for shorter and shorter interactions, namely articles versus novels and six-second viral videos versus films, many people that grew up in the age of the Internet have a preference for this condensed form of entertainment. Dana Gioia of The New York Times asserts in his essay “Why Literature Matters” that the decline of reading in America is destined to have a negative impact on society as a whole. Gioia opens his essay with a bittersweet account of which trend is occurring in the twenty-first century America arts scene. He notes that as college attendance rates blossom, the interest
Behind each movie lies the meaningful aspects and significant features worth noticing. All movies and books can be carefully examined and interpreted. Thomas C. In the novel, Foster identifies and analyzes common patterns, themes, and motifs found in literature, many of which are also present in Disney’s film, Maleficent. This movie showcases several of his ideas, including quests, flight, geography, and symbolism.

“My classmates reacted as though I’d attributed the delivery to the Antichrist. They were mortified” (Ibid, 464). He quickly discovers that he is not on one side of the cultural divide but two sides. He neither understands nor is understood. This series of events leads to him questioning the reason for learning a new language and inferring that he would rather be ignorant because he doubts his ability to learn.
Overview The two processes I chose were sustaining and agonistic. These are the most interesting and important processes to me, and they also fit in well with the edits I made to my article. I can connect sustaining processes to the fact that Wikipedia edits are made less than once per minute, and agonistic processes to controversial conflicts of interest in the history of Wikipedia.
