I am Mrs. Alison Marshall, a peasant farmer and investor in Felton. I was born on 27 April 1948 in the Borough of Felton, one of the iconic neighborhoods in Pennsylvania. I am proud to say that I have been living in Felton since birth, and witnessed the massive and significant changes in the political, social, and economic scene of the area. I attended my elementary, secondary, and college education in Pennsylvania.
In the following section, kindly help me in addressing how the world has changed from the 50’s, 60’s, to now.

Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune was a educator and activist. Mary McLeod was Born on July 10, 1875, in Mayesville, South Carolina. She was the last of seventeen children, and fortunately was born in freedom. When a school for black children opened the McLeod family had to make a decision. They only had enough money to send one child and McLeod was chosen.
