Bradbury, Ray. “ A Sound of Thunder.” 1952. PDF File A Sound of Thunder by Ray Bradbury is about a man that pays to travel back in time to hunt dinosaurs. A man by the name of Eckel paid Time Safari Inc. $10,000 to go back in time. They went through the time machine knowing all of the dangers that come along with time travel. Little things could change the present for ever. Eckel saw the massive Tyrannosaurus Rex and was greatly astonished and couldn’t shoot. The tour guide told him to "Turn around. Hide in the Machine." Eckel made the mistake of stepping off the path and changing the present forever.
As Bradbury said, “A little error here would multiply in sixty million years.” This little mistake changed America. It chaged the election and they couldn’t do anything about it. As Bradbury said in his story, "can't we take it back, can't we make it alive again? Can't we start over? Can't we." They effectively changed the future permanently. …show more content…
