b. Theme
The theme must be appeal to children, imaginative and also provide accurate information. Normally for bibliotherapy books, the themes are based on true stories and similar to the children situations and surroundings. Theme should be worth conveying to the children and be based on justices and integrity. Theme in the story of the book should offer a variety of things to think about, to question and to consider and identify if there is any lesson to be learned.
c. Plot
Story and plot should be interesting, simple, relevant and easy to comprehend. For bibliotherapy purposes the plot must be based on factual situation, true story and realistic. The language used also should be simple, interesting font and text size and the flow must

Character
Character development is about how the character grows, change and touch audience hearts. Normally character must show their true nature, their strength and weakness where later children can reflect to themselves and at the same time motivate them. Therefore the character should portray consistency. Everything character do, think and say should seem natural and we can expect them to act and speak based on their age, culture and educational background. The best characterization must avoid the stereotyping and the character must also have the development and growth in their characterization.
e. Setting
Settings refer to the situation that take place in the story and it should well indicate according to the genre of the book and for bibliotherapy book the setting must well display according to the actual problems or situations and not based on fairy tales only. The setting that had been set up must also show how the settings affect the action, character, or theme. The setting is important in creating mood, authenticity and credibility.

Out of 3130 children’s literature provided in this library, most of them are published in Malaysia and written in Malay language. However, none of it fulfils the bibliotherapy features.
4) Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Selangor (PPAS)
In Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Selangor (PPAS), the collections in the library consist of variety children’s literature. Mostly, the collections in the library were related to themes such as fairy tales, animals, general knowledge, environment etc. From the observation done, only few titles showed bibliotherapy features such as
