Panic hit my parents. It 's senior year, I just got accepted into UW Tacoma and they see the tuition fees. They were already in shock when they had seen my Application Fee was 70 dollars. Since we are residents of Washington my tuition fee is even higher; being about 5 thousand dollars more; the estimated tuition fees for nonresidents costs $34,791, not even counting the cost of living and supplies. The estimated costs to live on campus is $11,962 per year, which still doesn 't count the costs of food; which the estimated cost of food per year is $512 but, that is just for a meal card for their cafeteria not even counting outside expenses.
Circumstance: Ayden will maintain contact with medical team monthly. Ms. Smalls (MHP) and Mrs. Wigfall (MHS) discuss Ayden’s recent medical appointments and therapy. In chapter 7, I found the concept of punishment to be most intriguing. Punishment is a part of operant conditioning which was theorized by B.F. Skinner. Punishment is often confused with negative reinforcement. However, the main difference between the two is: while the goal of reinforcement is to increase the likelihood of a behavior, the primary goal of punishment is to reduce the chances of the behavior it follows. In 1938, Skinner concluded that punishment produces only temporary suppression of behavior but later research found that effects may be permanent.
Madison was referred for a full psycho-educational evaluation as one part of her mandated three-year re-evaluation process. Madison has a current special education classification of Other Health Impaired, secondary to Neurofibromatosis. Courage is being brave and taking the risk of doing something. In the book Witness by Karen Hesse many citizens did not like African-Americans , Jews and Catholics. Leonora Sutter, a character in the book, is a 12-year-old who is African-American and everyday deals with many citizens not liking her because the color of her skin. Courage comes in many ways and Leonora keeping her head high and not paying attention to it is an example. There are many racist people in the town like the KKK.

The movie Inside Out is about 11-year-old Riley who lives in Minnesota with her Mom and Dad. What makes this film so unique is that the story is ultimately about Riley’s emotions, Sadness, Anger, Anxiety, Disgust, and of course, Joy. The audience experiences Riley’s life through the lens of Joy, the protagonist. Joy’s primary goal was to keep Riley and most of her memories happy, but when the family moved from their home in Minnesota to California, Riley’s emotions started acting differently, specifically Sadness. For example, Sadness touched a memory, and subsequently became tainted with sadness, which greatly troubled Joy.
The short story “Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been?” by Joyce Carol Oates can be interpreted in a multitude of ways due to its ambiguity. A psychological lens, however, provides the most accurate viewpoint for analyzing the story as it clarifies certain obscure scenes and actions of Connie. One psychological issue of Connie that is easily inferred from the beginning of the story is her insecurity about her looks. Connie constantly worries about the way that she looks and takes any opportunity to do so, “craning her neck to glance into mirrors or checking other people's faces to make sure her own was all right” (1).
