Referencing is a method to cite information from different sources, and it is beneficial for all authors to provide evidence accurately. There are two most common referencing styles such as Harvard style and APA style, however, the APA style is mostly used in writings related to health science. The reason why referencing is important in health science is that it helps to offer credits to the original authors who have been used in other people’s work which is necessary for avoiding plagiarism.
