Meaning what do these sources say and what does the writer want to say about these sources? For avoiding plagiarism use signal phrases to introduce source material or use quotes, making sure in-text citations are used appropriately. I recommend that students show the source than get specific and show a quote, than interpret the source? And why does this information provided prove what the writer is trying to prove.
APA style is used globally by nursing scholars as they share current advances and policy updates in nursing and health care. Nurses have to construct concise and truthful written accounts to offer quality healthcare to patients, and APA style supports professional language. Nursing records are also legal forms of documentation, so it is important that these documents are specific, clear, consistent, correct, and comprehensible on whose work is being interpreted, through proper citation.

This paper will share my response to the questions about APA formatting. According to the Jones & Hurley, (2012) the main parts of an APA formated paper are the Title page, the abstract page, the main body of the paper, and the reference. In addtion, the three major learning takeaways for me was why APA is used, Who should used APA and the amount of items on the citation and reference list. The first take away really caught my attention as I began to review the the notes from Jones & Hurley, (2012) which stated APA was used to help all of the readers to understand the written text which is beig provided.
With these changes, we as nurses are able to provide the best care possible for our patients. In the BSN program, I learned the importance of having peer reviewed research for validity. Also, I would like to one day take part in a research study at my facility in order to contribute to the advancement of the nursing field. Sound peer reviewed research is very important in the nursing field.

In chapter 1 of the APA Manual, the focus was to point out types of articles, ethical and legal standards in publishing, accuracy of scientific knowledge, protecting the rights and welfare of research participants, and protecting intellectual property rights (American Psychological Association, 2017). These sections are intended to help publishers ensure that their research is posted properly. The APA states, “research is complete only when the results are shared with a scientific community” (American Psychological Association, 2017). This means that to share with a community, you must follow the APA guidelines for doing so. When reviewing chapter 1 of the APA Manual, I found it to be very helpful with continuing research.

From the beginning, the essay lacked proper MLA formatting, a creative title, double spaces, and the opening was a poor choice for a hook as it failed to be relevant to the entirety of the essay as it was misleading. The sentences were poor in grammar, spelling, punctuation, structure, and relevance as there were plenty of unnecessary wording that did not lead to any solid arguments for the reader to follow up on such as bringing up the internet and space travel. Essays need to be professional, but the student that wrote this used “I” in their paragraphs which made it informal and failed to correct the run on sentences, and overuse of commas. Without one there is not the other. Doubt and certainty rely on each other, there is no such thing as certainty if there isn’t doubt. Our society relies on the fact that certainty can get us through life, that they can achieve whatever they put their mind to if they are certain they can. Everything that one holds true hasn't been proven wrong, but who says it couldn’t be?
