As an astronaut on the Apollo 13 mission, I had the opportunity to be a part of one of the most challenging and dramatic missions in space exploration history. The Apollo 13 mission was supposed to be the third mission to land on the moon, but it turned into a fight for survival as we encountered a critical technical failure on our spacecraft.
