As a child and adolescent, Karol was involved in theatre until he began studies for the priesthood at an underground seminary, where he was ordained on All Saints Day in 1946 for the Archdiocese of Krakow. Later on, he became one of the youngest bishops ever, for at the age of 38 he was appointed Auxiliary Bishop of Krakow.
Little did his parents know, Karol Jozef Wojtyla would grow up to inspire millions. Karol was a smart man but his education at Krakow’s Jagiellonian University ended because of World War II. Karol joined a seminary in Kraków when he was working. He was ordained in 1946, and soon was sent to Rome where he got his doctorate in theology.

Paul was the one that brought Jesus’s message to the world. He went on three missionary journeys, and the fourth journey to Rome in order to spread Christian faith and the development of its various institutions. In addition of his responsible of geographically and culturally expanding Christian movement, he also extended it as well as ethnic lines.
